Place the highest (thickest) part of your keyboard at the front edge of your desktop. You may have to turn it around because the highest part of a keyboard is usually its back edge. (Some ergonomic keyboards are highest at the front.)

If the cord on your keyboard is too short for this adjustment, click on the "NO" button now for further suggestions.

Use a yardstick to measure the distance from the top of the highest part of the keyboard to the floor. Write this measurement on a piece of paper and label it as "top of keyboard to floor". You will be using it later.

Turn your keyboard back around and put it in its usual position.
